During the Sony State of Play in February, a fresh trailer for Sonic Racing CrossWorlds was unveiled. The swift trailer showcased Sonic and his animal companions zipping through familiar Sonic locations such as Metal Harbor and Chao Park. If you’re itching for some high-speed action, you might not have to wait much longer, as the trailer concluded by revealing a network test scheduled for February 21.
As a die-hard Sonic fan, I was blown away by the new trailer! It gave us a closer look at the karts each character will be zooming around in – from Sonic and Knuckles to Tails and Shadow. The action-packed footage even showcased Sonic pulling off some sick stunts on his kart and jet-board. What really caught my attention was the emphasis on rings that served as portals, making it clear why this game is called “CrossWorlds”. It looks like a regular race could take us through some of Sonic’s most iconic locations, plus unexpected surprises like an aircraft carrier!
This year, the game Sonic Racing CrossWorlds will be available for play on computers (PC), PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X and S, as well as the Nintendo Switch.
