It’s been confirmed by EbMaster that John Lithgow is in discussions for the role of Albus Dumbledore in HBO’s forthcoming adaptation of the “Harry Potter” series.

Dumbledore serves as the endearing yet enigmatic principal at Hogwarts School for Magic, a prestigious institution for witchcraft and wizardry.

HBO refers to the upcoming series as an “accurate portrayal” that boasts a fresh set of actors to captivate a new wave of fans. This revamped version promises to preserve the intricate details and beloved characters cherished by ‘Harry Potter’ enthusiasts for over two decades.
