In Hope Valley, there’s a continuous flow of residents entering and leaving, which isn’t surprising given it’s been running for ten years. It seems that wealthy heiress Ava might be taking after Elizabeth in some ways, and Edie appears to be a new romantic interest for Lucas.

Indeed, some characters have departed from our storyline as well. Elizabeth’s first spouse, Jack, passed away in Season 5, and Jeanette, who turned out to be an imposter gangster, fled town following the revelation of her deceitful actions, which may have been for the betterment of everyone involved.

Amidst all the commotion, the most significant guest appearance on When Calls the Heart didn’t occur until last week. However, will their presence linger longer?

The character Georgie McGill, played by Melissa Gilbert, is a recurring figure in the upcoming episodes of When Calls the Heart Season 12. If her plotline maintains its current direction, she might stay with us for many more episodes beyond her initial two-episode arc.

It’s rumored that Bill might encounter a form of love that isn’t reciprocated by Georgie, but the specifics are still uncertain. Actor Jack Wagner clarified: “Bill has a past with her. My character and I enter the jail, and she starts working with my co-star Nathan… and suddenly, there it is. We’ll be able to delve into their history in the second half of the season.

Since Georgie is currently embroiled in a larger investigation than herself, even involving the police, it seems reasonable that we should meet up with her again. After all, she has personal ties to Hope Valley through Bill and an expanding professional bond with Nathan.
