In the preview for the upcoming Amazon Prime Video thriller “G20,” Academy Award, Emmy Award, Grammy Award, and Tony Award-winning actress Viola Davis portrays the President of the United States in a battle for survival as she navigates through an attack on the G20 international summit.
In the movie, President Danielle Sutton, portrayed by Davis, finds herself on a trip with her family to Cape Town for the G20 summit. However, unexpectedly, the city is seized by forces aiming for economic dominance. The story then unfolds as Davis’ character evades the attack and engages in physical combat. As stated in the film’s synopsis, Davis’ President Sutton must use her wit to outsmart adversaries, shield her family, safeguard her nation, and secure the safety of world leaders in this action-packed thrill ride.
In this show, Anthony Anderson portrays Derek Sutton and Marsai Martin takes on the role of Serena Sutton from Davis’ family. The ensemble also features Ramón Rodríguez acting as Agent Manny Ruiz, Elizabeth Marvel as Joanna Worth, Sabrina Impacciatore as Elena Romano, Douglas Hodge in the character of Oliver Everett, Antony Starr as Rutledge, and Christopher Farrar as Demetrius Sutton.
