Adin Ross, popular livestreamer, has parted ways definitively with rap artist Kanye West, following the latter’s public disclosure of intense text exchanges between them.

Over the years, my admiration for Adin Ross has been consistently challenged by his rollercoaster connection with Ye. Time after time, they’ve arranged, only to later call off, podcast collaborations. It’s been a real whirlwind!

In February 2025, things reached a critical point when West sent Ross a puzzling request for communication. He asked Ross to refer to him as “sir,” claiming that Kai Cenat had allegedly cancelled a podcast with him.

As a devoted fan, I fired off a tongue-in-cheek response: “Indeed, I shall address you as ‘sir’. Could we possibly connect in two minutes, good sir? It seems Kai has joined the club, and I’m not entirely sure of the reasoning. Truth be told, I’ve been eager to collaborate on our stream since 2022.”

As a gamer myself, I recently had an interaction with Ye (formerly known as Kanye West) where our stream was cancelled and he blocked me after I addressed him as “sir” four times. To that, I responded:

In a widely shared social media post on X, someone publicly exposed and criticized a streamer who they had blocked, revealing their private conversation. Now, Adin has decided to address this issue directly.

Initially, Adin made it clear that he stood by his sharp reply to Ye’s pushy message, which he discussed during a live stream on Kick on February 11.

In a more polite and formal manner, Ross said: “Did I make a mistake here? Absolutely not, and I will reiterate my stance. I have no respect for Kanye West,” Ross began. “You requested me to address you as ‘sir’, and I did so. However, I hold no regard for you.

It’s truly disappointing to see Kanye’s behavior. Making lighthearted remarks about Make-A-Wish children and Diddy’s freedom… We all appreciate your music, but it’s hard to overlook such comments. At some point, one must wonder, ‘you produced Graduation.’ How many times can we forgive and justify these actions?
