25 players from Everton Football Club found great excitement over the Grassroots Greats Promo after learning about the potential team lineup, but recent developments have shattered those hopes.
As a dedicated fan, I can’t help but get excited about the upcoming event, Grassroot Greats! Based on what’s been leaked, this promo is going to bring back some of Ultimate Team’s most popular players from yesteryears. It seems we might even see some familiar faces that were once a part of the game but are now long gone. Can’t wait to see who they’ll be!
Diego Maradona is set to return to EA’s Ultimate Team on February 14 after a three-year absence, and it has also been suggested that a free Maradona card will be made available to all players. Additionally, Club members may have the opportunity to upgrade this card using an Evolution.
Moreover, whispers hinted at the potential comeback of Victor Ibarbo, Gervinho, and Seydou Doumbia after a long absence. Yet, it seems their reunion might be delayed for some time.
Doumbia, Gervinho & Ibarbo rumored not to be in Grassroots Greats
It was announced by FUT Sherrif that Doumbia, Gervinho, and Ibarbo will not be a part of the Grassroots Greats promotion at this time. However, sources have indicated that these players are still included in the game files and could potentially appear in future promos. Yet, this information did little to alleviate fans’ concerns.
FC 25 content creator NickRTFM responded, “WTF U GUYS DOING?”
Fellow streamer MattHDGamer added, “Aaaand promo ruined.”
FUT Sherrif leaked the complete promo team coming on Friday, February 14.

Although players like Paulo Dybala, Alexis Mac Allister, Jamie Vardy, and Bruno Fernandes are exciting options, they’re not the selections players were anticipating.
“Worst promo I ever see. The expectation and what we’ve got is awful,” a third user argued.
