Almost Friday Media Signs With Range Media Partners (EXCLUSIVE)

As a film enthusiast, I’m thrilled to share that Almost Friday Media, the dynamic digital content network and comedy powerhouse birthed from the popular Instagram meme account Friday Beers, has inked a deal with Range Media Partners.

Building out its film and TV division, Almost Friday aims to broaden its horizons beyond its current focus on short-form series and podcasts, reaching further into the realm of conventional entertainment with Range’s assistance.

Hey there! Last week, I was thrilled to learn from EbMaster that Almost Friday is bringing its witty “Entrapranure” series to life on television. This satirical take on the alpha-male “grindset” persona is a project they’re working on with Danny McBride’s Rough House Pictures, and Range as well. The pilot episode will feature Chester Collins portraying the relentless motivator Royce du Pont. They’ve also got a few more exciting projects brewing! Can’t wait to see it unfold!

In 2019, Almost Friday was established by brothers Max, Jack, and Sam Barrett, who began with a popular Instagram account titled Friday Beers. This platform catered to men aged between 21-34. Over time, the meme page expanded into a multi-faceted lifestyle brand that includes merchandise, newsletters, and even a physical bar in Nashville. The company now aims to revive the genre of raucous bro comedy that has been absent from the big screen for some time, similar to movies like “The Hangover” and “Old School.

The Almost Friday team is made up of President and COO Andrew Kenward, Jacob Selzer who oversees sports and unscripted content, Tyler Falbo in charge of scripted content, and KC Murphy handling sales. The sketch comedy team for the brand includes talent such as Will Angus, Liam Cullagh, Eilise Patton, Billy Langdon, Collins, Will Donnellon, and others. They perform live under the name Almost Friday TV.
