Remi Jo Bader was taken aback when she discovered that the texts she thought were from a new acquaintance were actually from Sophia Umansky instead.
Remi Jo Bader from TikTok, known for her lifestyle posts, recently encountered Sophia Umansky, the daughter of the renowned star on “Real Housewives of Beverly Hills,” Kyle Richards.
Immediately, there was a connection between them and they agreed to share their contact information. Later on that very same evening, Bader also encountered another individual with whom she swapped phone numbers.
Initially, the TikToker was unable to store both numbers on her phone. Later on, when Umansky sent a message that evening, Bader mistakenly believed it was the other person contacting her.
In the flow of their discussion, Bader expressed displeasure towards Umansky by saying, “You’re despicable,” and followed it up with a laugh, “I hope you find solace in self-destruction, oddball. Remove my contact details.
Unbeknownst to Umansky, the TikToker assumed she was conversing with the person who had been texting her. In response to a message that startled her, Umansky said, “Oh my goodness, you’re giving me a scare!” She followed up by sending Bader some selfies, but the TikToker persisted in misunderstanding the identity of the texter, believing it was the person playing a prank on her with photos of his girlfriend.
“I’m thinking that this is the guy texting me, messing with me,” Bader recounted.
Remi Jo screams in shock after realizing it was Sophia Umansky texting her
It wasn’t until she shared the chat with her friend that it became clear to her that the one being criticized by her was actually Umansky.
Bader exclaimed in surprise at her past mistreatment of Umansky, but fortunately, Umansky is incredibly kind. She immediately apologized, saying, “I’m sorry.
Apart from offering an apology to Umansky, Bader additionally sent a box of cookies. In a recent TikTok post discussing this interaction, Umansky stated, “It feels like Remi Bader could be bullying me.
In his account, he described this as both hilarious and terrifying, one of the most memorable incidents in his life. Unbeknownst to him, he assumed she was playing a prank, so he decided to respond humorously. Unfortunately, it turned out that she believed he was another man sending her an image of a stranger.
After the misunderstanding, Umansky expressed her optimism about her relationship with Bader blossoming into a strong friendship. “Remi, you’re someone I hold dear, and it’s been fantastic sharing so many moments with you in such a short time of knowing each other. I can hardly wait to see what lies ahead for us,” she stated.
As Bader focuses on maintaining an image and producing TikTok material, Umansky is also engaged in similar activities since she recently attended New York Fashion Week.
Although her family’s Netflix series, ‘Buying Beverly Hills’, ended after its second season, Umansky was content that viewers got a “brief peek” into her life during the show’s run.
