In simpler terms, Sid Meier’s Civilization 7 is a game that lets you create and manage your own civilization throughout history. As expected in a nation-building simulation, you encounter numerous obstacles related to leadership. While aspects like culture, economy, and technology are crucial, eventually, you’ll need to protect (or expand) your territory. In such situations, an army can be beneficial. It’s common for your troops to sustain injuries during conflicts, so healing them becomes necessary. Let’s explore how that works.
How to heal units in Civilization 7
To help your units recover health, you have the option of letting them rest during their turn. This will restore some of their HP, but keep in mind that they won’t be able to move at all during this time. If you prefer not to do it manually each turn, there is also a convenient feature available. All you need to do is open an extra command window alongside your unit card and click the button with a crescent moon and heart icon.
As a gamer, I appreciate that my injured unit can hold its ground and self-heal without me needing to manually intervene. However, since there aren’t any reminders or notifications about its status, it’s essential for me to remember to check back on it before the healing process is complete, just in case I might overlook it amidst all the game action.
You can aid your troops in recovery by setting up camp within your borders, or by choosing the “Field Nurse” skill for your leader. Furthermore, your settlements possess a unique attribute known as “Fortified Town,” which also reduces healing time.
