In the game Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2, there’s a quest called Invaders that can be initiated on two separate instances. This quest is typically triggered after a fight in the tavern, and it’s usually Betty, the innkeeper, who sets the quest in motion. If you encounter Betty while a group of Cumans are present in the tavern, you’ll start the quest from its very beginning. However, if you speak to Betty much later after the initial brawl, she will simply inform Henry about what happened with the Cumans, leading him to converse with Vuytek for further details about the situation.
For those who are wondering, both initial points for this quest offer no significant distinction. While a player might garner slightly more renown with Vuytek or the Cumans if they begin at the very start of the quest, this advantage isn’t substantial. Moreover, the method of starting this quest won’t affect its final result.
How To Start The Invaders Quest In Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2
If you seize the mission when the Cumans are at the tavern, Betty may urge you to help them. However, Vuytek might begin badmouthing the Cumans. Henry can align with either group, but given that he’ll need to go to the Cumans’ camp as part of this quest later, it would be wiser to attempt to calm things down by opting for these dialogue options: aiming to de-escalate the conflict.
- Good appetite!
- Everyone calm down.
- You’d better leave.
- Leave them alone.
Following our last conversation, your assignment will involve defeating Vuytek, however, keep in mind that no lethal force is allowed. If you breach this rule, the mission could lead to a disappointing outcome. Once that’s done, Vuytek will request that you manage the Cumans.
In summary, the initial phase of your adventure concludes here. If you undertake this quest following these specific circumstances or decline Betty’s request for assistance against the Cumans and return later, the Invaders quest will commence post-tavern events. Consequently, Henry interacts with Vuytek who requests that you prevent the Cumans from returning to Troskowitz in future. This underscores the significance of maintaining a cordial relationship with the Cumans.
Visiting The Cumans’ Camp During The Invaders Quest
The Cuman encampment lies to the northwest of the Nomad camp, as indicated on the map provided here. Initially, you’ll need to inquire about their location, but given the map, this step may be unnecessary.
When planning your journey there, be aware that there’s an additional task in this quest which can be completed if your character has a Charisma of 20 or more. To boost your Charisma, consider wearing high-quality outfits as they are known to significantly increase it. If you wish to earn the reputation from this side mission, make sure Henry’s Charisma reaches at least 20 by donning some stylish attire.
Engage in an extensive conversation with Vasko at the Cuman camp and don’t hold back from exploring his dialogue. However, remember to share a drink with him too. If you’re interested in taking on the side mission when Vasko discusses Jasak’s affection for a nomad girl, respond by saying “Perhaps I could offer assistance.
Helping Jasak During The Invaders Quest (Optional)
If you’re willing to assist Jasak, accompany him to the nomad camp and engage in conversation with the girl he adores. For the most favorable outcome, select the following dialogues, keeping in mind that if your charisma is below 20, none of the responses will be effective.
- I’m a friend of Jasak.
- We’re not!
- He says you’re beautiful.
- He says he dreams about you.
- You should give him a chance.
Following their separation, an individual from the nomad encampment will obstruct Henry’s journey ahead. To wrap up matters amicably, “It was insignificant,” is a response that would bring a favorable end to the side mission.
Drinking With Vasko During The Invaders Quest
Return to the Cuman camp immediately for a chat with Vasko, and let’s raise another round. In the evening, he will suggest that you join Jasak for more wine. Accompany Jasak and join in his songs, however when he stumbles, engage with the black dog on the trail. Then, carry on along the path until a button prompt leads to a chest. Whatever you say to the dog is inconsequential. Open the chest and grab the wine, but leave the other items untouched.
1. Consult your map to help you find your way back to the Cumans’ encampment.
2. Offer the wine and when Vasko inquires about your unique qualities, respond by boasting that you are exceptionally skilled.
3. If he challenges you to swim, accept his dare, then advance into the pond until you can teleport back to the camp once more.
Now we move on to the main discussion. Feel free to explore all topics, but do remember to suggest either “Let’s discuss something else” or “How about we change the subject?” at the end, as this will lead us to talk about Troskowitz. When Henry vomits on Vasko’s shoes, you can respond with “I apologize, I’ll clean it for you.” Then, Vasko will promise not to enter Troskowitz again.
As a dedicated follower, I can feel the culmination of our journey approaching. Come morning, I’ll be grappling with a wicked hangover. After giving it some time to dissipate, I’ll find myself transported to Troskowitz, ready to face Vuytek. I’ll share that I’ve struck a deal with the Cumans, but when he tries to challenge me, I’ll assure him, “Trust me, they won’t cause any more problems.” However, this reassurance will only hold weight if my charisma is 10 or above.
Alternative Method To Deal With The Cumans During The Invaders Quest

Should you find yourself disliking the Cumans for any cause, you have the option to eliminate them during their encampment as a means to complete your quest by reporting back to Vuytek afterward. However, be aware that these Cumans are formidable warriors, making the battle quite challenging. This method will also incur a reputation penalty not only from the Cumans but also with Vuytek himself.
