Resident Evil’s Greatest Monsters Unite In First Look At New Dead By Daylight Collaboration

In the folklore of Resident Evil, its most formidable antagonists – Nemesis and Albert Wesker, also known as The Mastermind – have never encountered each other. However, from today, Wesker and Nemesis are joining forces in Dead by Daylight’s third collaboration with Resident Evil, appearing as two of the game’s killers in its latest 2 vs 8 mode.

Behaviour Interactive recently unveiled a trailer for the upcoming Dead by Daylight x Resident Evil collaboration, featuring Nemesis and Wesker confronting several characters from the Resident Evil series such as Jill Valentine, Leon Kennedy, Ada Wong, and Rebecca Chambers. Notably, Jill possesses prior knowledge of battling Nemesis in Resident Evil 3 and Wesker in various other games. However, despite having backup, Jill and her team seem to be struggling against this formidable pair.

In Dead by Daylight, collaborations with Resident Evil occur independently from the main storyline, allowing for creative combinations without needing to tie everything together neatly within the Resident Evil narrative. However, the 2v8 mode showcases a map derived from Raccoon City’s Police Department, as seen in Resident Evil 2 and 3. Furthermore, players can discover and utilize healing items in the form of green and yellow herbs, reminiscent of Resident Evil. If either Wesker or Nemesis locate these herbs first, they can destroy them to gain a speed advantage instead.

As a dedicated gamer, I’ve got some exciting news to share! In the upcoming 2v8 mode, Behaviour Interactive is planning to have two survivor bots on every team to cut down on killer queue times. This enhancement is part of the ongoing Dead by Daylight x Resident Evil collaboration, which runs till February 25. However, there’s more!
