Despite primarily working on Path of Exile 2, Grinding Gear Games hasn’t neglected the original installment, Path of Exile. An eagerly awaited update, known as Legacy of Phrecia, is in store for players, and developers have recently unveiled more information about it. In our forthcoming event, “Legacy of Phrecia”, as previously disclosed, we’ll be unveiling extra Ascendancy classes including the “Harbinger”, “Gambler”, “Architect of Chaos”, and “Servant of Arakaali”, among others. These new classes will offer you exciting opportunities to develop your character in unique ways.

Another exciting aspect of the upcoming event is a shift in the endgame dynamics. To replace the familiar Atlas Passive Skill Tree, a novel system will be implemented. This new feature allows players to discover Idols, which when deposited into the Map Receptacle UI, will bring about diverse alterations to the levels.

The developers understand that this modification in the endgame content is quite significant, particularly because the Atlas Passive Skill Tree forms the base for this phase of the game. However, they are confident that with these revisions, players will encounter a vast array of unique endgame content combinations. With the updated system, it becomes simpler to acquire items that players have been striving for, such as top-tier Essences from enemies or more Blueprints.

Currently, the developers haven’t focused on enhancing the Quality of Life aspects for this particular event. But if it gains popularity in the future, the creators may consider making updates. Furthermore, upon the completion of the event, it will be incorporated into Private Leagues together with Ascendancy Classes.
