Pokemon TCG Pocket fans finally get closure on heartbreaking lost Swinub card

Devotees of the Pokémon Trading Card Game (TCG) Pocket Edition were deeply saddened when the Space-Time Smackdown expansion introduced an alternative art card bearing a distressing visual, however, fresh information regarding this matter has come to light.

The card under discussion is none other than “Weavile ex,” depicting a group of three Weaviles preparing to attack an unaware Swinub. Fan reactions on social media were swift, with many expressing their dismay over Swinub’s predicament.

Since then, the card has sparked intense discussions among the TCG Pocket community, and some have even created humorous memes in response. Yet, a recent development offers new insights into the mystery surrounding Swinub’s event on that crucial day. So, keep your eyes peeled, this is getting exciting!

New Weavile x Swinub details surface

2025, on the 7th of February, an observant TCG Pocket user brought a startling discovery to the attention of PTCGP headquarter officials, which has since significantly advanced the investigation into the Weavile and Swinub homicide case.

As a gamer, I was left stunned when a fellow Reddit user dropped two authentic images that seem to verify Swinub’s survival. For days on end, I had been under the impression that my beloved Swinub met its doom at the claws of a swarm of ravenous Weaviles. However, it now appears that my little buddy has miraculously managed to return to safety.

On the Mamoswine alt art card, it’s evident that Swinub managed to make it through a tough situation (let’s not get into the details). Interestingly enough, our little pig seems perfectly fine physically, but we can’t guarantee its emotional state (it likely went through quite an ordeal).

The art depicts Swinub and its family in a secure state, which means we can confirm the matter has been resolved. However, could it be possible that the situation is different if the illustration isn’t portraying the actual reality? Just checking, as I don’t think the images are reversed, right?
