In the latest update for Destiny 2, the Heresy expansion arrives with another installment in The Final Shape saga, offering fresh challenges and missions. Some of these tasks are quite demanding, causing players some frustration – be it during the Echoed Warnings quest or when attempting to provide Metastasized Essentia to the Taken Altar. Now, there’s an additional obstacle: the Tome of Want mission, which appears to be malfunctioning. However, is this actually the case? Here’s a guide on how to properly activate the ritual.
How to activate the ritual in Tome of Want A Primer quest in Destiny 2
It seems some “Destiny 2” gamers are encountering difficulties at stages 3 or 4 of the Tome of Want: A Primer quest, and it appears Bungie has detected this problem. However, the main cause could simply be that the instructions aren’t made clear enough.
To perform the ritual successfully, it’s essential that you align the types of scripture you are using. If you encounter difficulties, follow these steps instead:
1. Identify the specific scriptures you plan to use for your ritual.
2. Ensure they match in terms of type (e.g., all Old Testament or all New Testament).
3. Proceed with activating the ritual once the scriptures are aligned.
- In the first slot (starting from the left), you need to use a blue scripture. For example, you can use an Episodic Weapons Scripture.
- In the second slot, you need to add a legendary Crumbling Scripture that matches what you chose in the first slot. If you picked Episodic Weapons, go with something like Auto Rifles.
- Finally, place Ritual of Desire in the last slot, and you’re good to go.
If you stick to the sequence and align the scriptures accurately, the ritual ought to function flawlessly, paving the way for the subsequent stage.
