Commandos: Origins finally with release date. Classic strategy series returns in April

Kalypso Media has officially announced when the new addition, Commandos: Origins, to their acclaimed stealth strategy series will hit the shelves.

1. The digital version of Commandos: Origins will be released on April 9th this year. On that day, the game will launch simultaneously on PC, Xbox Series S, Xbox Series X, and PlayStation 5. We will wait for the physical editions for these platforms until May 22nd.
2. Also on April 9th ,Commandos: Origins will be added to Game Pass – both on PC and Xbox X/S consoles.
3. Future plans also include versions for Xbox One and PlayStation 4, but for now, the developers are unable to provide their release dates.

It’s important to note that the original plan was to launch Commandos: Origins last year; but in October, the developers unveiled a demo of the game, which indicated that it wasn’t quite ready for public release just yet. You can still access this demo on Steam if you’re interested.

Based on feedback from the demo and beta testing, it was decided to delay the release until 2025, with the expectation that by April 9th, the creators can elevate the game to a quality befitting such an esteemed brand.
