505 Games has announced that the game Eiyuden Chronicle: Hundred Heroes will be getting three additional story chapters over the coming months. Each chapter will retail for approximately $8.
The Chapter of Marisa, set to debut on February 27th, follows the story of Marisa’s meeting with a magical girl. This magical girl later becomes Marisa’s traveling partner as they embark on a quest to unravel the mysteries surrounding the “Child of the Rune.
The following tale is titled “The Chapter of Seign,” set to debut on March 13th. In this story, Seign departs from Nowa’s group to tackle a matter arising within the Galdean empire. Here, Seign embarks on a secret mission to uncover the truth hidden within the empire’s depths.
In the upcoming release on April 3, titled “The Chapter of Markus,” our characters, Markus, Carrie, and Nowa, stumble upon an enigmatic gateway known as Menhir’s Distortion. As they venture through it, they’ll uncover a world beyond their own and gain insights into Markus’s past.
Eiyuden Chronicle serves as the spiritual successor to the Suikoden series, developed by Rabbit & Bear Studio, a team comprised of former Konami employees. Interestingly, Hundred Heroes is set to receive a sequel even after its creator’s passing last year. Unlike its predecessor, Hundred Heroes is a turn-based RPG, whereas Eiyuden Chronicle: Rising offers a side-scrolling action RPG experience. You can currently play Hundred Heroes on PC, PlayStation, Switch, and Xbox platforms, with Xbox Game Pass also offering it.
As a devoted fan, I can’t help but share my enthusiasm for TopMob’s review of Eiyuden Chronicle: Hundred Heroes. This game is like a nostalgic journey back to the golden age of JRPGs, offering unforgettable characters, a captivating narrative, and gameplay that keeps me hooked!
