The humor is too straightforward. After a fellow cast member shattered her heart, only a few months later Ciara Miller stepped back into the spotlight to appear in Traitors. Over her four-year stint on Bravo’s Summer House, she encountered deceit, venom, and gall from various sources, including Lindsay Hubbard at times. However, these experiences didn’t prepare her for the Peacock competition series. In her words, “I was playing a simple game like Connect Four while everyone else seemed to be playing chess.” She doesn’t usually watch shows like Survivor, Big Brother, or The Challenge. People often say, “These people are legends,” but she is meeting them for the first time and finding that some of them appear to be sociopaths.
In the footsteps of fellow contestant Kyle Cooke from season one of “The Traitors”, Miller joins the Bravo cast in Alan Cumming’s latest series, serving as a refreshing change after the turmoil Wilson caused last season on “Summer House”. From the start, Miller found herself drawn to Wilson, deceived about his romantic entanglements, and was even taken home to meet his parents during fall – only to be discarded before his TV debut. At the reunion in June, Wilson cited direct messages (DMs) and fan watch parties as reasons for their breakup. However, in an interview with the New York “Times”, Wilson admitted that these factors were not the primary cause of their split. Instead, he acknowledged that the relationship had simply run its course and they were not meant to be together. He also confessed that his attempts to deflect blame onto external factors made him appear foolish.
How does a unique three-in-one individual, who’s both a reality TV star, model, and registered nurse, spend their time? With Lindsay expecting the first baby on “Summer House” and DJ Kyle Cooke residing downstairs, along with Jesse Solomon flashing his wide grin, season nine kicking off on February 12 promises plenty of excitement. Miller’s focus? “Let’s navigate through the drama so that Paige, Amanda, and I can relax in the bed.
Have you ever encountered someone on reality TV shows like Survivor or Big Brother whom you initially suspected to be a sociopath? That’s my guess, given how unconventional their behavior seemed to me.
Did abstaining from competition shows contribute positively to your journey by allowing you to avoid being influenced by others’ performances?
After wrapping up filming The Traitors last spring, I found myself back at my familiar nursing post in Georgia at the start of the year. Stepping into an environment surrounded by people who have known me for a long time, those who were with me before this whirlwind, brings me immense comfort. Immersing myself in something entirely separate from my own persona allows me to find solace and peace. It’s a therapeutic outlet, a productive way to invest my time, energy, and passion.
The journey to Georgia and returning to New York for press appearances was undeniably challenging. Over the summer, despite having just three shifts, they were scheduled back-to-back-to-back. On Sunday, I returned from the Hamptons; on Monday, I flew to Atlanta; Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, I worked; and then on Thursday evening, I flew back to New York to depart for the Hamptons by Friday, Saturday, and Sunday. At times, it felt like “Oh my God, what am I getting myself into?” But as they say, you only live once!
At that point, does the Hamptons still seem like a relaxing vacation? Instead, it can sometimes feel more like an exhausting family gathering where one might find oneself wondering, “Who’s upset with whom this weekend? What’s the latest drama, who’s arguing, who’s going out?” Not me. I prefer when the girls stay in bed. That’s my favorite part.
How much time and creativity are you dedicating to your summer party outfits? While I’m particularly fond of glamorous styles, I ensure that they are cohesive and well-thought-out. Even when some outfits are put together at the last minute, I still consider them as a whole from head to toe.

Zoë… I didn’t catch a glimpse of the seagull costume from the trailer, alright? Just so you know, I was actually at the hospital during that time.
You need to place your order by Tuesday for it to arrive on time at your house. Unfortunately, it’s already Wednesday, so we’ve missed the deadline. My producer called me and asked what I was planning to wear for the party. I responded that I didn’t know about any party. Since I got fixated on an idea that could be really funny, I had to find someone to help me. In the end, I decided to dress up as a seagull. It might seem silly, but it was worth it.
1. Originally, I made them acquire plaster; later on, I dispatched them to a craft store to pick up feathers, wings, and paint. I also sent them to Abracadabra for contact lenses. They gathered everything at home, so it was all waiting for me when I arrived home Thursday evening. Intriguingly, I took a unique-shaped beaker from the hospital as my mold for the beak. Later on, Amanda and I sculpted this beak onto my face using plaster.
2. Earlier, I instructed them to fetch plaster; subsequently, they were tasked with purchasing feathers, wings, paint, and contact lenses from a craft store. They also picked up the items from Abracadabra. Upon my return home Thursday night, everything was already assembled at the house. Fascinatingly, I appropriated a special-shaped beaker from the hospital to serve as my mold for the beak. Later on, Amanda and I used plaster to sculpt this beak onto my face.

How did you interpret the fans’ response towards season eight?
I must say, the reaction was intense. Fans can be incredible, yet I don’t always follow their lead. When things are going well, they shower you with praise. But when there are setbacks, sometimes they criticize harshly. That’s not quite how life works off-screen, though. It’s just me and my therapist figuring out one day at a time. When people suggest, Ignore what the fan base is saying, I find myself wondering, How?
As a dedicated movie enthusiast, I had built up my expectations over the seasons, and when season eight rolled around, I knew I needed to keep my cool at the reunion. I’m not exactly known for holding back tears when I’m emotional, so I made a conscious effort to rein in my feelings and express myself with clarity and poise instead of letting the waterworks take over. My goal was to maintain a composed demeanor, something like, “This is what it is, and now I see your intention and how you played this game. It’s disappointing, but I understand the bigger picture.
The experience was incredibly touching. The emotions made it even more sincere. I can’t help but wonder about the moment when Kyle displayed his emotions and felt the unwavering support from all my co-stars on stage. We are not just a group of actors, but more like a close-knit family. There’s a certain camaraderie that develops among us, where we can tease each other playfully. But, if an outsider ever crosses the line, it feels like a protective instinct kicks in, as if to say, “I will defend you.” We have been through so much together and they know I’m not quick to open up to everyone. Kyle has a tender spot for me, Amanda, and Paige. Even though we sometimes give him a hard time, he is like our guardian angel, always looking out for us.
I believe I never shared this with any of them, particularly the boys. However, Paige and Amanda were the ones who listened to my concerns the most. It seemed to be the first time they’d heard about it from me.
Following our meeting, what were your thoughts or feelings? To be honest, I’m not sure if our conversation was beneficial or not. West spoke briefly, offering an apology, but I’ve decided to let the matter rest. Upon my return from Scotland and seeing some of the articles published in The New York Times, for instance, I felt quite upset. I don’t usually engage with the press much, if at all. I find it unpleasant and prefer to avoid it whenever possible. So, I kept quiet throughout the season and have not done many interviews since then. I don’t think I will be doing a tell-all or an in-depth interview about this matter on a podcast.
Initially, it’s thrilling to receive so much attention during your rookie season. However, behind the scenes, family members, friends, and acquaintances are inundated with countless articles about me. People share clips of interviews I’ve given, and everyone seems interested in my life because of me. It feels strange, almost manipulative, like it’s just for cheap publicity. I understand that people might not act the same way as I do or be as private, but I wouldn’t intentionally subject someone to this level of exposure. At the end of the day, you’re enjoying the spotlight because you’ve gained attention by being with me. Frankly, I can’t help but feel that it’s a bit excessive, so I choose not to comment on it. Yet, here you are, acting as if you’re the star, since we’ve become an item. Let’s face it, you’ve caught me!
It’s quite ironic when he expressed he didn’t want to be connected with me, yet every media piece revolves around me. I find this lack of consideration and empathy for my situation quite disrespectful. Perhaps his rising fame got the best of him, which I can understand. That’s why I believe it’s important to tread carefully. The media, unfortunately, is not our ally; they are more interested in creating stories than showing genuine concern. Sometimes, it’s wise to remain silent on certain matters and observe how events unfold. It’s challenging to speak when episodes are still airing because the final outcome is always uncertain.
What were your requirements, be it from him specifically or generally, to have a enjoyable summer? And, without giving away any spoilers, did you manage to fulfill those needs?
My answer would be that I didn’t need anything from him as I’ve been spending my summers with these folks for ages. To put it bluntly, I was here long before he arrived, and I managed to enjoy my summers without his presence. Whether he’s there or not doesn’t really change things for me. It wasn’t his influence that shaped the kind of summer I wanted to have. Was I going to be the same person around him? Definitely not.
As a fan, it’s intriguing to know about the bond you and Jesse share away from the camera. We often stay connected through occasional video calls, catching up on each other’s lives, discussing relationships, and sharing moments of solitude. Our friendship feels genuine and comfortable. There was a moment during the summer when he assured me, “I understand your relationship with West, but we are still friends, and I won’t betray that trust.” While I remain cautiously optimistic about everyone, I genuinely believe our friendship is strong and reliable. Jesse may aspire for us to reunite as a trio, but ultimately, I don’t let it affect our bond deeply.
What was it like for me, the youngest one, when Lexi Wood and Bailee Henderson joined us? Well, they certainly entered with enthusiasm, which is great to make an impact. Sometimes I find myself in a position where I have to fill them in on years of drama, explaining incidents that made you upset like, “Remember five years ago…” They picked up things quickly and were always eager to learn. They brought a lot of fun into the group and could keep up with Kyle’s energy.
This is out of pocket, but would Carl ever be back on the table? At all?
On whose table?
Heard.
If you guys think I’m ever doing another house romance, you’re out of your minds.
Why do you believe men often take you to their family homes? It’s because they enjoy seeking validation and passing the time in ways that are meaningful to them, even if it means spending unnecessary hours with you.
Does the idea of your podcast “Codependents” returning spark a thought in you? People have been inquiring about when it might return, so perhaps it’s time for us to discuss this with Mya.

Was it more daunting to enter the house during your first season or to confront the Traitor’s castle? To me, it seems the latter was more intimidating due to the same unsettling questions arising: Who can I rely on, and who should I be wary of?
It is essential that there are skills that can be applied in various situations.
Be alert at all times, keep your eyes open as you never know who might attempt to harm you.
Was there anyone from the castle whom you desired to join you in the Hamptons for some fun?
Bob Harper is quite amusing because our relationship isn’t often portrayed. However, Bob and I are inseparable. He was someone I truly cared for. If I were in a crowd, I would always seek out the LGBTQ+ community – they are my tribe. They are my people.
In a different phrasing, here’s the text: Dolores holds a special place in my heart, as we shared a deep bond. Normally, such confrontations would leave me in tears, yet this time, it wasn’t until they branded me as a Traitor that I felt the sting. In those moments of confusion, Dolores and I would exchange bewildered glances, often expressing ourselves with a simple, “What the heck?” Dolores is somewhat reminiscent of an older version of myself, and she isn’t shy about her colorful language. Despite the impression given by the show, I did indeed form a strong connection with Chrishell, who proved to be truly outstanding.
Rolling her eyes, she might say, “You’re quite young, and you seem to be popular. But is Kyle a good DJ, though? Well, he’s not terrible if I must say.
