Cresselia ex best counters
While there are exceptions such as Drifloon and Drifblim being vulnerable to Electric-type Pokémon, it’s advisable to build your deck primarily around Darkness-type cards for a successful battle in any tier of the Pokémon Trading Card Game Pocket Cresselia ex Drop Event.
In simpler terms, cards that are of the ‘Darkness’ type inflict an additional 20 points of damage on ‘Psychic’ Pokémon. This applies to most ‘Psychic’ creatures in decks of that type, such as Cresselia cards, among others.
Don’t forget that you’ll need Trainer cards to help out, including items, tools, and supporters.
Best deck build
During your Cresselia meetings, numerous deck modifications could be beneficial. Notably, since the Space-Time Smackdown set launched, the Weavile ex & Darkrai ex has proven to be one of the most powerful combinations.
In case you’re yet to collect all the essential cards, an alternative deck to consider is the Scolipede & Weezing deck from the Mythical Island expansion.
WEAVILE EX & DARKRAI EX | SCOLIPEDE & WEEZING |
– Sneasel x2 – Weavile ex x2 – Spiritomb x2 – Darkrai ex x2 – Pokemon Communication x2 – Cyrus x2 – Dawn x2 – X Speed x2 – Poke Ball x2 – Professor’s Research x2 | – Koffing x2 – Weezing x2 – Venipede x2 – Whirlipede x2 – Scolipede x2 – Koga x2 – Sabrina x2 – Leaf x2 – Poke Ball x2 – Professor’s Research x2 |
If you’re just starting out, you can establish a strong deck by incorporating essential cards like the Poke Ball, X Speed, Sabrina, Potion, and Professor’s Research, along with Pokemon such as Ekans, Arbok, Koffing, Weezing, and members of the Nidoran family (including Nidorino and Nidoking).
How to start
Locating and initiating a Cresselia battle from a Drop Event requires only a few straightforward actions:
1. Ensure that the event is currently active.
2. Navigate to the designated location for the Drop Event.
3. Engage in combat with Cresselia when she appears.
- Open Pokemon TCG Pocket
- Go to the ‘Battle’ tab (fourth icon on the bottom)
- Tap on ‘Solo’
- Enter the Cresselia ex Drop Event (first option)
- Pick a battle tier
- Select your deck and press ‘Battle!’
Remember, each battle victory in Drop Events decreases your Stamina. If you find yourself running low and wish to continue, you can swap Event Hourglasses to restore it.
Requirements
As a gamer, I’ve found that to participate in the Cresselia EX drop event, I first need to uncover the Battle menu. To do this, I should ensure my character has reached level 3 or above.
Great news for gamers like me! It doesn’t take long to hit Level 3, thanks to the fact that you earn loads of experience points right off the bat by cracking open booster packs and joining Wonder Picks events.
Also, all six of the ‘For New Players’ steps from the Battle Guide must be completed.
Here’s everything you should know about the Cresselia drop event in the Pokémon TCG Pocket: for additional details, explore all promotional cards, learn how to obtain them, discover the event calendar, and uncover the secrets behind every mission.
