Image Tree International secures worldwide distribution rights for the family adventure-comedy “Prank,” which is helmed by director Benjamin Heisenberg (“The Robber”) and features a screenplay co-written by him alongside Peer Klehmet (“The Famous Five”).

I’m thrilled to share that our team is all set to debut our movie as a market premiere at the prestigious European Film Market in Berlin. This exciting event takes place before our movie graces German screens this coming spring!

The story revolves around Lucas Roosen, a 12-year-old boy, and his Chinese exchange student Xi Zhou (Max Zheng), who initially play an April Fool’s trick that unexpectedly escalates. What started as a simple joke transforms into a wild journey, involving a group of eccentric individuals, from shady characters to bumbling law enforcement agents.

At the forefront of the cast is Noèl Gabriel Kipp portraying Lucas, a character who is both tricky and lovable. Alongside him is Max Zheng playing Xi Zhou. The group also consists of Laura Tonke, Cedric Eich, Jana McKinnon, and Lukas Miko.
