xQc calls out PlaqueBoyMax for ‘rewriting livestream history’

xQc expressed his dissent with PlaqueBoyMax‘s assertion that Adin Ross was the pioneer in breaking into mainstream streaming.

On January 31st, during a live stream on Twitch, FaZe member PlaqueBoyMax shared his thoughts about the initial streamer to gain mainstream popularity.

Max stated, “Adin was the pioneer in streaming on Twitch; he was doing it long before Kai and Speed. Even though Speed became quite popular that same year, Adin had already paved the way.

People on Twitter were quick to disagree with Max’s statement.

One user stated, “Ninja isn’t real?” while another Twitter commenter shared, “Ninja featured Drake in a stream before it was common for streamers to have popular rappers.

xQc is tired of people “rewriting” live streaming history

In the ongoing discussion, xQc voiced his opinion, aligning with numerous others who believe Ninja was the pioneer of streaming’s mainstream breakthrough.

xQc argued that the alteration of live streaming history should be halted. According to him, Ninja was the pioneer and the sole individual who gained mainstream popularity, with no other contender even coming close. It took years for anyone else to reach a level comparable to where Ninja stood.

In March 2018, Ninja played Fortnite live alongside Drake and Travis Scott. It wasn’t until October that same year when Adin Ross started streaming. Many of Ninja’s most notable mainstream accomplishments occurred before Adin began his professional career.

In 2018, I, a gaming enthusiast, got invited to chat on some big-time talk shows, like Jimmy Fallon’s and Ellen’s. We discussed my streaming adventures and the thrilling world of Fortnite. It was quite the experience!

Despite most people siding with xQc from FaZe, StableRonaldo humorously suggested that Kick streamer LosPollos was the pioneer who first gained mainstream popularity.

Halting the reshaping of mainstream live streaming history is crucial. No one, not even remotely, has managed to match the pioneering and singular status that @LosPollosTV holds. It took years for others to catch up to where @LosPollosTV had already established themselves.

In the year 2014, LosPollos made his streaming debut, and notable streamers like Jynxzi and YourRage have acknowledged him as one of the initial personalities they started following in the streaming world.

Though xQc might not have initially broken into mainstream popularity, he has undeniably risen to be one of the most widely recognized streamers, consistently ranking within the top 20 most-followed channels on Twitch.
