‘The Night Agent’ Season 3 Ups Fola Evans-Akingbola, Ward Horton and Albert Jones to Series Regular

I’m thrilled to share that I’ve learned “The Night Agent” has promoted Fola Evans-Akingbola, Ward Horton, and Albert Jones to series regulars for its upcoming third season! This exciting news follows closely on the heels of the January 23rd release of Season 2. As a dedicated fan, I can’t wait to see what these talented actors bring to the table in the next installment of this captivating series!

The series progresses as depicted in its title, focusing on FBI Agent Peter Sutherland (Gabriel Basso), who manages to rescue the president (Kari Matchett) during Season 1. This act grants him a chance to transition into the role of a ‘night agent’ for Season 2. However, his new position within this clandestine organization will lead Peter into an environment where peril lurks around every corner and trust is scarce.

Actors Evans-Akingbola (from “Ten Percent,” “Back in Action”), portraying secret service agent Chelsea Arrington, is represented by Hamilton Hodell and Johnson Shapiro Slewett & Kole. Similarly, Horton (“The Gilded Age,” “Annabelle”) playing governor Richard Hagan, is handled by Amplified and Innovative Artists Agency. Lastly, Jones (known for “Mindhunter” and “Respect”), representing FBI deputy director Aiden Mosley, is represented by SirenSong Entertainment, IAG, and Peikoff Mahan.

The Night Agent” was developed by Shawn Ryan, who additionally oversees its production as showrunner and serves as an executive producer alongside Marney Hochman from MiddKid Productions. Other executive producers include Seth Gordon and Julia Gunn through Exhibit A, James Vanderbilt, William Sherak, Paul Neinstein, and Nicole Tossou via Project X, David Beaubaire from Sunset Lane Media, Munis Rashid, Paul Bernard, Guy Ferland, and Seth Fisher. Sony Pictures Television is responsible for its production.

The show ranks among Netflix’s top hits, as the first season placed seventh on their list of all-time most-watched English TV series. It amassed a staggering 98.2 million views within its initial 91 days on the platform in 2023. Impressively, Season 2 premiered as the week’s most-viewed Netflix series, with 13.9 million viewers tuning in during its first four days of release.
