This announcement follows a series of hints dropped by the studio and much anticipation among fans. Earlier this week, we had a trial run of The Sims: Legacy Collection ahead of our major reveal, and to our surprise, it still stands strong, albeit with a touch of ruthlessness.
In a recent press release, The Sims vice president and general manager Kate Gorman Revelli expressed that it’s a unique moment for their team to reintroduce the original Sims games where it all started, serving as both a birthday gift for our players and a trip down memory lane. Our fans have been eagerly anticipating this chance to relive nostalgia, and we thought our birthday would be the ideal occasion to celebrate with them while also welcoming new players into The Sims universe. We’re thrilled about another 25 years of The Sims as we continue to inspire our community by offering various ways to explore life in a creative manner.
You can buy both games, including the Birthday Bundle, for your PC through Steam, the EA App, or the Epic Games Store. If you’re an EA Play Pro member, you’ll be able to play these games instantly since they are included in your subscription.
For Sims enthusiasts, mark your calendars! The Sims 4 community is in for a treat as they gear up for their very own 25th anniversary celebrations starting on February 4. This special occasion will be marked by the Blast from the Past event, a free, time-limited extravaganza that’s set to last four weeks. Loyal players who participate can expect to receive classic items reminiscent of the series, such as inflatable furniture and an enormous, three-tiered “cake” concealing a delightful surprise.
