Experience the distinctive take on love, dating, and romance offered by the sandbox-style dating simulator “Date Everything” developed by Sassy Chap Games. This game has drawn praise for its offbeat storyline and innovative ideas, where everyday items such as appliances, furniture, and other household objects can be transformed into potential romantic interests.
Originally planned for a 2024 launch, the developer had to disappoint us as the release was pushed back to February 14th, 2025 instead, known for being romantic. However, our anticipation grew as the game faced another delay. But don’t worry, it will only be a little longer – just a few more months – before the developer gives the game a loving touch-up. Once ready, players can finally dive into the game on its new release date.
To the game’s social media platforms, Lead Designer and voice actor Ray Chase announced that the game “Date Everything” will now be released on consoles and PCs in June 2025. In the official statement, Chase stated, “The game is fully developed to a level that we believe meets our objectives without sacrificing our unique, eccentric artistic vision.

Unfortunately, time ran out on the development team, leaving them unable to thoroughly test all the extensive content and intricate pathways within this colossal game. Delaying its release date will give them the opportunity to finish testing and address a few more items on their checklist. Chase explained, “Our list of bugs is gradually shrinking as QA navigates through the complex storylines, but it would be unjust to offer the game in this state with so many lingering glitches.
In eager excitement, we’re looking forward to diving into this homecoming dating sim called Date Everything. The concept is simple: you’ll assume the role of a remote worker who unexpectedly loses their job to AI on their first day. However, there’s still a glimmer of hope as an unusual package arrives at your doorstep. Inside, you find a pair of striking and mysterious glasses, known as the “dateviators.” These glasses have the unique ability to recognize and acknowledge all life forms present in your home.
As I eagerly wait, I’m excited to hear some exciting announcements, voice actor reveals, and fresh gameplay footage coming our way in the upcoming months. Now, here’s something intriguing – it seems those elusive bugs the QA team is chasing are not just ordinary bugs but rather dateable in-game characters! And get this: one of them goes by the name Daemon, and I can’t help but feel that he’s going to be quite a charmer.
The game titled “Date Everything” is set to arrive on consoles and PC around June 2025. Rest assured, a specific release date will be unveiled in the forthcoming months, so make sure you’ve got your calendar free! For now, you can add it to your Wishlist, and pre-order details will be shared shortly.
