Indiana Jones And The Great Circle Whips Up 4 Million Players Before PS5 Debut

For the very first time, Microsoft has shared statistics about Indiana Jones and the Great Circle – one of the largest releases from Xbox Game Studios last year. In a recent announcement, CEO Satya Nadella stated that the action-adventure game has attracted more than 4 million players on Xbox Series X|S and PC platforms.

During a recent Microsoft earnings call, Nadella disclosed that Indiana Jones and the Great Circle, a game which has garnered widespread praise, has already been played by over 4 million people. The CEO commented on its success, noting that it’s been highly praised as one of TopMob’s top Xbox games for 2024, and it’s even been nominated for Game of the Year at the upcoming 28th annual DICE Awards.

It is expected that the player base will expand when Indiana Jones and the Great Circle arrives on PS5 this spring, as Microsoft previously announced at Gamescom last year that the game developed by MachineGames would be released on Sony’s console. At present, the title can be found on Game Pass for PC and Xbox Series X|S, making it challenging to determine the exact sales figures for the game.

It’s well-known that Indiana Jones and the Great Circle was among Steam’s most popular games in December. Furthermore, this action-adventure game ranked as the 14th best-selling title in the US during the same period. Additionally, a second update for Indiana Jones and the Great Circle was released last month, focusing on fixing bugs and improving global illumination.

Moving forward, Lucasfilm finds it intriguing to potentially develop additional Indiana Jones video games. To learn more about this, take a look at TopMob’s review of Indiana Jones and the Great Circle.
