Previously this month, the weekly premier show for the biggest professional wrestling firm globally, WWE Raw, transitioned from conventional TV broadcasting to weekly streaming on Netflix. Now, these two entities have revealed the next stage of their collaboration, with the popular WWE 2K video game series expected to be accessible on mobile devices through the Netflix Games platform later in the year.
The news arrived through a short promotional video showcasing WWE Superstar CM Punk. Unfortunately, there was no gameplay footage or extra information for the mobile edition; it merely hinted at “WWE 2K games” being available on this platform sometime in “Fall 2025.
This week has been particularly action-packed for the WWE 2K series. They’ve just announced Roman Reigns as the cover star for WWE 2K25 on both consoles and PC. The upcoming edition of their annual wrestling simulation promises an impressive roster of over 300 characters, along with fresh additions such as intergender matches, a brand new hub world named The Island, and numerous other enhancements.
Currently, Netflix has expanded their services to provide more than a hundred games at no extra cost for all their subscribers through their mobile application. New titles include Monument Valley 3, Squid Game Unleashed, Sonic Mania Plus, and Sid Meier’s Civilization VI from 2K Games.
This autumn, WWE 2K will be available on Netflix’s gaming platform. The standard release date for WWE 2K25 is set for March 14, but those who opt for the premium Deadman Edition or Bloodline Edition can start playing a week earlier from March 7.
