Marvel’s Spider-Man 2 PC Specs Revealed A Day Before Launch

In one day, Insomniac Games and Nixxes have disclosed the PC specifications for Marvel’s Spider-Man 2, which do not necessitate a GPU that supports ray tracing – a requirement seen in some recent and upcoming titles like Doom: The Dark Ages and Indiana Jones and the Great Circle.

In summary, Insomniac offers six different preset levels in their game, with three having no ray tracing and the other three incorporating it for a more lifelike reflection effect. Those with powerful PCs can activate ray tracing. A control allows you to adjust the distance at which objects are considered for ray tracing reflections. If you’re using less advanced hardware, there’s an option suitable for Very Low graphics settings and 720p resolution at 30fps, requiring only a GTX 1650 or RX 5500 XT. As of now, there’s no information about compatibility with the Steam Deck.

This game offers advanced upscaling and frame generation with Nvidia DLSS 3, AMD FSR 3.1, and Intel XeSS technology. It also supports ultra-wide monitors, accommodating aspect ratios such as 21:9 and 32:9, and even expanding to a triple monitor setup with an aspect ratio of up to 48:9.
