The upcoming Super Bowl commercial for Anheuser-Busch InBev’s beverage features Willem Dafoe and Catherine O’Hara, who were recently seen together in “Beetlejuice Beetlejuice.” This advertisement will also include appearances by sports icons such as NFL legend Randy Moss, Olympic champion Ryan Crouser, and WNBA star Sabrina Ionescu. In a 60-second clip, Dafoe and O’Hara engage in a pickleball match to outplay their opponents and ultimately triumph with Michelob Ultra.

According to Marques, we aimed for characters who were both endearing and amiable yet had an edge of intensity and risk. He further explains that the ad appreciates the idea that friendly rivalry becomes even more engaging when there’s something significant at stake, like having Ultras involved.
