Hazelight Studios’ games distinctly shine amongst competitors due to their unique creativity. The developers consistently focus on designing games that primarily cater to two-player collaboration, and they excel at it exceptionally well.
The games “A Way Out” and “It Takes Two,” both well-received by gamers, with the latter earning the prestigious Game of the Year award at the TGA 2023, have sparked anticipation among many for the upcoming release of “Split Fiction.
The anticipation grows even more as Electronic Arts unveils a gameplay trailer for an upcoming title on YouTube at 9:00 a.m. Pacific Time. Much like their previous hit, It Takes Two, this new release promises another exhilarating and eclectic journey.
One moment you’re flying with dragons, and the next you’re falling into space.
At The Game Awards 2024, it was unveiled that a game called “Divided Realms” had been developed. This game follows the tale of two authors – Mio and Zoe – who find themselves ensnared in the worlds they’ve created after connecting with a particular machine. Notably, one of them is adept at weaving fantasy stories, while the other excels in creating science fiction narratives. From now on, their primary objective will be to escape these realms, an endeavor that necessitates teamwork between them.
In “Split Fiction,” the narrative unfolds from a Third-Person Perspective (TPP) and emphasizes teamwork, much like other games developed by the Hazelight studio. As we explore diverse settings, we encounter environmental riddles and arcade-style obstacles to surmount.
Split Fiction is heading to PC, PS5, and XSX/S, with the game’s release scheduled for March 6.
