The immersive first-person psychological horror game called Dreamcore, developed by indie studio Montraluz and published by Tlön Industries, has just been released. You can now play it on PC, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X/S. Dreamcore is influenced by the “Backrooms” concept, offering players the opportunity to delve into eerily familiar environments, built using Unreal Engine 5 technology.
Valentín Iribarren, Game Creator at Montraluz, stated that their aim is to make Dreamcore a place where players are transported to an unusual and eerie environment, one which is creatively designed but still retains enough familiarity to remind players of real-world locations. They’re thrilled to unveil the results of their hard work and have plans to reveal more worlds after the launch, as Dreamcore continues to explore various realities in the future.
For just $8.99, this game provides a wealth of areas to discover right now. Three additional levels are planned for rollout over the next six months, with each one being released approximately every six months. As these new chapters become available, the game’s price may adjust upward; however, those who purchase the initial chapter will receive the subsequent levels at no extra cost.
Damian Hernaez, Development Director at Tlön Industries, commented that Dreamcore showcases some of the most captivating game environments ever created. He noted that ‘liminal spaces’ have been trending in gaming recently, but what Montraluz has produced is exceptionally haunting and awe-inspiring. Upon seeing Dreamcore for the first time, we were immediately swept away, and we can’t wait to see how everyone reacts to these mysterious worlds.
