CyberConnect2 has revealed that the game titled Fuga: Melodies of Steel 3 is set to debut on May 29 across multiple platforms. These include PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, as well as PC via Steam and Epic Games.
As a gamer, I’m pumped about the third installment! From what I’ve gathered on its Steam page, it seems like they’ve significantly overhauled the combat system, polished the interlude sequences, and made the overall gameplay strategy more intricate.
Furthermore, according to a Japanese press statement, separate physical copies for all three games are planned for release on the Nintendo Switch in Japan. However, no information about their availability at western retailers has been disclosed yet.
I was fortunate enough to sit down for a chat with Taichiro Miyazaki, Executive Vice President of CC2, during Anime Expo 2024. In this interview, we delved into their self-publishing initiatives and the exciting prospect that the upcoming third game will boast a playtime experience that’s twice as long as its predecessors!
Below, you’ll find a sneak peek teaser trailer, detailed description on the store page, and a collection of screenshots, all courtesy of CyberConnect2. Enjoy!
