Renowned three-time Academy Award nominee and Golden Globe winner Sylvester Stallone has agreed to represent himself under the Independent Artist Group for all aspects of his career.

As a devoted cinephile, my primary objective is to further expand Sylvester Stallone’s production company, Balboa Productions. This creative powerhouse has already brought us the popular Paramount+ series “Tulsa King” in collaboration with 101 Studios, among other projects. Given IAG’s impressive track record of guiding stars like 50 Cent and Mary J. Blige to establish their own successful production companies, G Unit Film & Television and Blue Butterfly respectively, it’s only natural that Stallone would be drawn to IAG for continued growth and success in the world of entertainment.

As a movie enthusiast, I can’t help but marvel at Sylvester Stallone’s unparalleled career. This legendary Hollywood figure has left an indelible mark on cinema history with his iconic performances in enduring franchises such as “Rocky,” “Rambo,” and “The Expendables.” What truly sets him apart is the fact that he’s the only actor to have a No. 1 movie in every decade since the 1970s, right up until the 2020s. It’s a testament to his enduring appeal and unwavering talent.

The actor achieved stardom following his Oscar-winning role in the 1976 boxing film “Rocky.” This performance earned him nominations for both Outstanding Lead Actor and Outstanding Original Screenplay, a feat only three artists have accomplished in history. Afterward, this movie led to eight subsequent successful sequels. In 2015’s “Creed,” Stallone was again recognized with an Academy Award nomination for Best Supporting Actor.

The latest achievement at the agency is the signing of Sylvester Stallone, a feat orchestrated by Jim Osborne, CEO of IAG and a member of EbMaster500. Known for his long-standing representation of Gary Oldman and his producing partner Douglas Urbanski, this dynamic duo is also behind the Emmy-nominated series “Slow Horses” on Apple TV+.

After assuming the role of CEO at IAG in 2023, Osborne instigated significant changes within the agency. This transformation included a merger with AGI, Dennis Arfa’s music powerhouse, which took place in June of the same year. Prior to this, when ICM Partners was purchased by CAA, Osborne brought on board over 15 senior agents and more than 300 clients from ICM. The acquisition of AGI added acts like Billy Joel, Metallica, Def Leppard, and Motley Crue to the agency’s roster, enhancing its existing focus on hip-hop and R&B music.
