Sterling K. Brown, Dan Fogelman Hulu Thriller ‘Paradise’ Will Also Debut on ABC and FX (EXCLUSIVE)

Disney is providing strong support for the new Hulu series “Paradise” created by Sterling K. Brown and Dan Fogelman by simultaneously releasing it linearly on both ABC and FX, in addition to Hulu.

I’m thrilled to share that my new TV series, making a grand comeback as a regular cast member post the conclusion of Fogelman’s acclaimed NBC family drama in 2022, will first air its initial three episodes on Hulu on January 28th. Subsequently, the pilot episode will be broadcast on ABC on January 29th at 10 p.m., with a repeat showing on FX on February 1st also at 10 p.m.

Moving forward, each week, the initial season of “Paradise” consisting of eight episodes will be released one by one on Hulu.

For the debut of “Paradise,” Disney is employing an unprecedented strategy – they’ve never before made the first episode of a new streaming series available at such a massive scale upon release. This bold step showcases both their confidence in the production and their ambition to leverage their streaming platform, broadcast network, and cable channels simultaneously to attract as many viewers as possible to this high-profile series.

The way Disney is releasing the first episode of “Paradise” is unlike anything they’ve done before – they haven’t offered a premiere on such a grand scale for a new streaming show at launch. This daring decision demonstrates their belief in the project and their aim to maximize the use of their streaming services, television network, and cable channels together to draw in as many viewers as possible for this high-profile series.

According to Hulu, “Paradise” is a series that takes place in a peaceful, affluent neighborhood populated by some of the globe’s most influential figures. However, this calmness is disrupted when an appalling murder takes place, leading to a high-pressure investigation.

In the series “Paradise”, we have Brown, Julianne Nicholson, James Marsden, Sarah Shahi, Nicole Brydon Bloom, Aliyah Mastin, and Percy Daggs IV as its main cast members.

In a joint effort, an executive named Brown collaborates with creator Fogelman, along with Requa, Ficarra, Hoberg, Rostenthal, and Beers, to produce the series entitled “Paradise”. This production is brought to you by 20th Television.
