It’s accurate if you assume that Hope Valley has been yearning for a beloved character. According to an early summary, there’s a possibility that they could reappear in Season 12 of When Calls the Heart.
Over time, when a television series surpasses a decade of airing, it’s natural to expect changes in cast members. Indeed, with When Calls the Heart entering its twelfth season, you might find yourself momentarily disoriented.
It’s good to know that Hope Valley continues to have its familiar faces. The small-town drama still centers around Elizabeth, who is now deepening her bond with Mountie Nathan. Jack, sadly, has moved on (rest in peace), and Lucas seems to be focusing on his business venture in Capital City.
As long as Rosemary, Mike, and Mei remain part of our world, one beloved character from Hope Valley has gone unseen on television screens. Yet, hints in Season 12 of When Calls the Heart may indicate a possible comeback for them.
Fiona rumored to reappear in When Calls the Heart Season 12
In the summary for When Calls the Heart Season 12 Episode 5, it’s mentioned that Elizabeth comes up with a fresh teaching approach, Nathan takes on a covert assignment, someone from the past arrives in Hope Valley with a struggling heiress, and Lucas and Lee confront their disagreements. It seems like this storyline revolves around Fiona.
Should you not recognize the name, Fiona Miller made her debut in Season 6 and had a brief reappearance in Season 11. Initially, she was sent to Hope Valley with the task of setting up and instructing a new telephone operator to handle calls both within Hope Valley and beyond.
Six seasons have passed and she seems to have disappeared – however, this might not last much longer. Thanks to recently released images by Hallmark, a new character can be seen conversing with a woman whose face is hidden from behind. The newcomer is Tiera Skovbye, but the person she’s speaking to bears an uncanny resemblance to Fiona.
With the episode summary and her statement in People Magazine, there’s little stretch of disbelief that she’s the “recognizable character.” After departing the series to work on Taylor Sheridan’s Landman, actress Kayla Wallace discussed her comeback.
As a gamer putting on my headphones, I’d say: “My spouse is part of that game world, keeping it ever-present in my gaming life. We’re pals with many of the players too. It’s not about goodbyes; it’s more like adjusting to whatever life throws at me each year and seeing if we can make it work together.
Hallmark hasn’t officially confirmed if Wallace will return as Fiona in future episodes.
