The new Downloadable Content (DLC) for Minecraft is here, featuring Hello Kitty and Friends! This update allows players to construct an adorable farm teeming with crops, livestock, and numerous Hello Kitty characters.
In this expansion pack, players can tend to crops, water them, and reap their harvests. Various creatures like chickens, cows, sheep, and pigs are available for raising, yielding eggs, milk, wool, and even truffles from the pigs which hold a significant value. Additionally, approximately 180 pieces of Hello Kitty-inspired furniture and decorations will be introduced, including the Badtz-Maru chair and Tuxedo Sam table.
The DLC offers a variety of changing seasons to rejuvenate the scenery, along with special events. Among these events are the Exciting Cherry Blossom Festival, Frosty Fun Day, Spooktacular Halloween, and Fireworks Festival. Keep an eye out though, as real-life disasters like typhoons and heatwaves might damage your crops.
In this expansion pack, you’ll get visits from beloved friends like Cinnamoroll, Pochacco, and My Melody, right here on your virtual farm! Additionally, you’ll find a delightful Hello Kitty outfit for your character, complete with the signature red bow and blue overall ensemble.
The additional content for Hello Kitty and Friends, priced at approximately $10-$12 (equivalent to 1510 Minecoins), features one of the most widely recognized symbols worldwide. This series boasts its own game, “Hello Kitty: Island Adventure,” which is currently available on Apple Arcade. It will be released for PC and Nintendo Switch digitally on January 30, with a physical version arriving on March 25. A PlayStation release is scheduled at a later date.
Previously known as Minecraft’s original developer, Notch, has been pondering the idea of crafting a game that could serve as a spiritual sequel. However, he expressed doubt that it would be as engaging as Minecraft was. In 2014, Notch sold both Minecraft and its developing company, Mojang, to Microsoft for a whopping 2.5 billion dollars.
