ABC has renewed “High Potential” for a second season.
This television series first aired on ABC in September, and the final episode of its initial season will be shown on January 21st. The summary for this week’s installment reads, “A nanny is discovered brutally murdered in the park. Meanwhile, Morgan steps in when Elliot learns he wasn’t invited to a classmate’s party.
The show ‘High Potential’ is modeled after the French series ‘Haut Potentiel Intellectuel (HPI)’. In the American adaptation, Kaitlin Olson plays Morgan, a clever single mother with an IQ of 160. She initially works as a cleaner for the LAPD, but her exceptional intelligence proves to be an unexpected asset in solving crimes.”
By rephrasing the original sentence, we’ve made it more readable and easier to understand by breaking it down into simpler sentences and using common, everyday language.
In addition to Olson, the cast of this series also includes Daniel Sunjata playing Karadec, Javicia Leslie portraying Daphne, Deniz Akdeniz as Lev “Oz” Ozdil, Amirah J in the role of Ava, Matthew Lamb as Elliot, and Judy Reyes acting as Selena.
Or more casually:

Ever since its premiere, I’ve been part of the audience that’s found this show captivating. According to ABC, the pilot episode alone managed to draw in close to 30 million viewers from various platforms.
Drew Goddard created the television show and functions as the executive producer through Goddard Textiles, together with Sarah Esberg. Todd Harthan serves both as the showrunner and executive producer. Besides starring in the series, Olson is also a producer. The production company is 20th Television, with Harthan currently holding an overall contract at this studio.
Today, it’s been confirmed as the second series from ABC to get a renewal – specifically, “Abbott Elementary” has been granted a fifth season. Earlier reports indicated this development. Interestingly, the cast of “It’s Always Sunny in Philadelphia,” including Olson, made appearances on that very show not long ago.
