As a devoted fan, I found myself right in the middle of the US TikTok ban’s unintended consequences when our game servers were temporarily halted. This predicament has left me and fellow enthusiasts bereft of time-bound features like daily login bonuses and missions. To our relief, the developers, Second Dinner, have pledged to rectify this situation by compensating those affected, but specifics regarding the form of compensation remain undisclosed for now.

Additionally, not only was the game taken down from digital marketplaces, but its creators, Second Dinner, are actively seeking a way to reinstate it. For now, in-app purchases have been suspended, but online store purchases continue to function. The team is diligently working to resolve this issue and restore in-app transactions.

On January 19, Marvel Snap temporarily stopped functioning because its publisher, Nuverse, is associated with Bytedance – TikTok’s parent company. However, Nuverse had already separated from Bytedance. In a surprising turn of events, President Donald Trump postponed TikTok’s ban for 75 days through an executive order. Since then, it appears that Second Dinner is seeking a different publisher to avoid potential risks of Marvel Snap being banned again if the TikTok ban delay comes to an end.
