In the “Janusopolis” region, which is part of the main storyline in Honkai: Star Rail 3.0, you’ll have to solve the Oronyx’s Scales riddle or puzzle.

To solve this riddle, you’ll need to employ the Hand of Zagreus. The objective is to even out Oronyx’s Scales. But beware, Oronyx, the Time Titan, doesn’t always play by the rules. It may get frustrated and alter the puzzle’s conditions while you’re working on it. However, there’s a chance for victory!

In this walkthrough, we’ll reveal the answer to the Oronyx’s Scale enigma situated within the “Abyss of Fate” district of Janusopolis, as part of Honkai: Star Rail version 3.0.

Abyss of Fate Janusopolis Oronyx’s Scales Puzzle Solution | Honkai: Star Rail

In the Janusopolis area’s Abyss of Fate, you’ll find the Oronyx’s Scales riddle, which is a part of the “Veil of Darkness, Conceal the Silent History” quest. Much like the challenge in “Desolation, Echoes of Ancient Triumph,” you’ll need to employ Zagreus’s grasp to solve it. To begin, navigate towards the terminal of the Hand of Zagreus situated on the western side of the puzzle-containing room.

As soon as you assume command over the Hand of Zagreus, be sure to spot a big orb straight ahead. Once found, pick it up and position it on the right side of Oronyx’s Scales, which is in close proximity to the sphere itself. Immediately following your placement of the sphere, a brief cutscene will unfold.

After the movie segment concludes and you regain control of Zagreus’ Hand, move towards the western part of the room. There, you’ll find a pyramid-shaped object you can collect. This pyramid will be situated diagonally across from where the sphere used to be.

In this scenario, lift the pyramid and position it on the scale’s right side, much like the sphere previously. Afterwards, a brief video sequence will unfold.

Once the scene has concluded, you won’t need to focus on the Hand of Zagreus anymore. Feel free to divert your attention instead by heading towards the southern slope near the Hand of Zagreus terminal.

As I follow the path downhill, veer to the left towards an intriguing artifact known as a Miracle Orb. The characters around me seem to be in awe of this mysterious object, believing it could shed light on our journey ahead. After some conversation and contemplation, let’s move closer and engage with this enigmatic orb.

Using the Miracle Orb

At the moment, your task is to operate the Miracle Orb. By directing it to various locations, you can eliminate any barriers obstructing the way, like boxes. For now, simply activate it and aim it towards the crates on the right side. This will ensure a clear path for you to climb the stairs.

Once you’ve placed the Miracle Orb on the steps, consider it detached from you. Now, guide your character along the stairs you’ve recently cleaned up.

Climb the stairs and take a look behind you to find a Prophecy Puzzle Tablet. It appears to hold the secret for unlocking the nearby door. Give the tablet a try to initiate the puzzle.

Prophecy Tablet: Blockage Unsealed

To solve this Prophecy Tablet puzzle, as with all others, you should identify an image on the left that corresponds to the patterns or shapes provided on the right. Keep in mind that shapes that overlap one another will negate each other, so it’s crucial to take note of this interaction when deciding which shape goes where.

In the beginning, I’d suggest you take hold of the largest triangle at the top and strategically place it right smack in the middle. This way, it neatly conceals those two smaller triangles lurking in the backdrop of the picture. For a clear understanding, have a peek at the snapshot provided.

Next, pick up the small triangle located at the bottom-left corner and move it to cover the peak area of the largest central triangle as shown in the picture provided.

Last but not least, please locate the small triangular icon situated at the bottom-right corner and position it in the center of the Prophecy Tablet, similar to the sample image provided earlier. Doing so should help you solve the puzzle. The door will then open, revealing a substantial weight inside.

Tipping the Scales Again

After Phainon opens the door, you’ll find a Hand of Zagreus terminal handily situated nearby. Give it a try to reactivate the Hand of Zagreus once more.

After seizing the Hand of Zagreus, take a glance to your left, and you’ll see the newly opened door right away. Head towards it and pick up the substantial object inside.

As previously, move the weight towards the right side of the balance for a perfectly balanced scale. Now, Oronyx’s Scales have finally achieved equilibrium!

All that’s left is for you to go down the stairs and go to the central part of the room.

Engage with the book to bring about a “miracle”, as the game terms it. This action will clear the obstacles hindering your way. Afterwards, simply climb the staircase and pass through the door.
