54-year-old Bollywood star Saif Ali Khan had an emergency operation at Lilavati Hospital in Mumbai, after being attacked by a burglar at his Bandra home early Thursday morning. The incident occurred around 2:30 am, and the actor sustained several injuries during a scuffle with the intruder.
As reported by police authorities, it was within Khan’s 11th-floor residence where he unexpectedly encountered an intruder. In an effort to mediate a dispute between the trespasser and his household staff, Khan was unfortunately involved in a struggle. This confrontation left Khan with several stab wounds, one of which was very near his spine.
A group of experts carried out a 2.5-hour operation, followed by more plastic surgery. Hospital officials assure us that Khan’s condition is currently stable.
In Mumbai, both the Crime Branch and local law enforcement agencies have started simultaneous investigations. They have dispatched seven separate investigation teams throughout the city. At this moment, authorities are scrutinizing security camera recordings and interrogating domestic helpers in various households.
