SteveWillDoIt is openly criticizing YouTube for permanently banning his account, which he considers as suppressing his “drive” or enthusiasm, and at the same time allowing the NELK boys to endorse gambling in their videos.
In 2022, YouTube permanently banned SteveWillDoIt’s account due to a breach of their community rules by displaying the link to a gambling site (Stake) during promotions on his secondary channel.
Approximately three years have elapsed, and Steve continues to strongly resist the Google-controlled platform, asserting that the ban has significantly altered him.
On January 14, 2025, Stephen ‘SteveWillDoIt’ Deleonardis criticized YouTube once more, claiming that they allow NELK to promote Stake without repercussions, whereas he was banned for inadvertently displaying the gambling site’s web address.
SteveWillDoIt puts YouTube on blast for banning him
On Steve’s fan community platform, ‘Steve Will Do It Loyals,’ the content producer shared that his creative well had run dry, and he was choosing to step away from on-camera appearances.
He admitted frankly that he’s not feeling particularly inspired or enthusiastic about being in front of the camera. He suggested that his attitude might come across as harsh due to a past experience where his YouTube channel was removed, which had a profound impact on him and left him feeling less than optimal.
I’m currently not feeling very creative or up for being in front of the camera, truth be told. Losing my YouTube channel had a significant impact on me, and I’ve been struggling since then. I’m not feeling great, but I do have more financial resources now as I’m spending less.

Steve further explained that although he possesses a substantial amount of wealth due to not investing it into video production, he remains dissatisfied with his present circumstances.
He prefers creating YouTube videos, even if it means earning nothing and putting in effort, rather than having a fortune without producing videos. He’s not a lazy person, quite the contrary; he simply lacks passion for any content at the moment.
Or:
He chooses to make YouTube videos, even though it may mean earning no money and working hard, over having vast wealth but not making videos. He isn’t lazy in the least; instead, he’s just not enthusiastic about anything related to content creation right now.
As per Deleonardis’ statement, NELK has been granted permission to promote Stake at the start of their videos, and they seem to encounter no issues with this practice.
It’s equally perplexing when you get banned for an editorial mistake, only for a one-minute stake advertisement to appear at the start of the Nelk video. It seems unfair that I can’t be part of Nelk or have a YouTube channel, but they are allowed to include such an ad…

It’s confusing to get banned for an editor mistake on Stake, only to find that a Nelk video followed it, containing a full minute of advertising for the same platform. It seems inconsistent since I can’t be part of Nelk or have my own YouTube channel, but they are allowed to do this advertisement.
The creator likened his predicament to that of a discredited artist similar to Puff Daddy or an infamous multiple murderer such as Jeffrey Dahmer, indicating the significant impact the YouTube ban has had on his life.
It’s not uncommon for creators like Steve to experience sudden and permanent bans from platforms such as YouTube. For instance, in August, Twitch star Amouranth found her account removed due to “sexual content,” even though the model claimed she was simply using a paintbrush to clean a microphone.
