Fox Will Stream Super Bowl LIX on Tubi

Fox is taking the Super Bowl to a new frontier — or, at least to one that is new for Fox.

On February 9, Super Bowl LIX will be live-streamed by Fox Sports on their free, ad-supported streaming service, Tubi. This is a shift from previous years where the stream was accessible through Fox Sports’ digital platforms. This change highlights Tubi, which has grown in popularity while many competitors focus more on subscription-based streaming services. Notably, Tubi will offer the stream in 4K resolution.

The Super Bowl will be shown on Fox, Fox Deportes, NBCUniversal’s Telemundo, and various NFL digital platforms. Unlike traditional cable or satellite systems, viewers won’t need a subscription to access it. In other words, it will be free for all to watch. All the broadcasting windows are anticipated to carry the same commercial load as the main event broadcast.

Alongside Fox Sports’ pre-game show, you can catch the same action on Tubi as well! Additionally, Tubi will air “Tubi Red Carpet at Super Bowl LIX,” starting at 3:30 p.m., hosted by Olivia Culpo. This special program will focus on celebrity appearances, fashion trends, and cultural aspects linked to the upcoming event. Beginning January 28th, Tubi’s NFL Channel will offer a series of programs leading up to the Super Bowl, featuring highlights from past Super Bowls, memorable halftime shows, top moments from the NFL Honors, expert analysis, and much more!

On Friday, February 7, as a strategy to showcase additional content alongside the Super Bowl, Fox Sports plans to dominate the daytime schedule of the Fox broadcast network. Starting at noon that day, they will air various programs from Fox Sports 1 such as “First Things First,” “The Facility,” “Speak,” and “Breakfast Ball,” plus “The Herd with Colin Cowherd.
