Notably, it includes fresh weapons, types of enemies, and locations for players to discover. Here’s a peek!

The release date for the Atomic Heart: Enchantment Under the Sea DLC is set for Tuesday, January 28th, 2025. This expansion will be accessible across all game platforms, such as PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Series X|S, and PC.

Atomic Heart DLC #3 Gameplay
In “Enchantment Under The Sea,” you’ll find a return to the classic gameplay that Atomic Heart is known for. Yet, it offers fresh weaponry and skills that make it an exciting prospect to explore.
Initially, the Downloadable Content (DLC) introduces fresh types of adversaries, based on the “Sea” motif of the DLC expansion. These enemies include crustacean-like creatures as well as the Mannequins from the first DLC. Notably, the Robo-Girl, a significant robot character from Atomic Heart, will now become an interactive opponent for you to engage in combat. You may recall seeing this robot in various pre-release trailers or during gameplay itself. Now, the exciting opportunity to battle one is available. Rest assured, as you’ll be equipped with novel weaponry and tools to assist you in your fight.
In terms of new weapons and abilities, here’s what we’ve seen so far:
- A new shotgun. This gun seems to have a fast fire-rate, capable of tearing down waves of foes. Granny Zina supplies this weapon to the player in the trailer.
- A new melee weapon – Looks similar to some of the weapons from the main game. However, we do not yet know of its special abilities or upgrades.
- Ability – Underwater, you’ll need to use a glove’s new ability to quickly traverse from one spot to another. May be useful in avoiding the eel.
In addition, the DLC offers the chance to navigate submerged locations. While dodging the menacing Moray eel robot, you’ll swim through a stunning area that appears to have been influenced by Bioshock’s Rapture. Ultimately, you can expect to delve into underground spaces, underwater expanses, and various terrestrial zones in DLC 3.
Enchantment Under The Sea Story – Atomic Heart DLC #3
The next installment of the game’s additional content, known as its third DLC, carries on from where “Trapped in Limbo” left off, further developing the extended conclusion of the game. BEWARE! From this point forward, there may be spoilers for Atomic Heart if you haven’t completed it yet.
In Atomic Heart, players are given two different conclusions to pick from, which will determine P-3’s actions. If you opt for helping Granny Zina and Char-les (Chariton) battle against Dr. Sechenov, then the story progresses towards Limbo. On the other hand, if you decide to leave the mission, it leads to the “Annihilation Instinct” DLC.
The Trapped in Limbo expansion narrates P-3’s journey as he explores the surreal landscape of Limbo. In the narrative, he meets his wife Ekaterina once more, but needs to figure out how to break free from this dream world and face off against Char-les. Ultimately, at the end of the DLC, P-3 manages to escape, pledging to rescue Katya and save the day.
It appears that the movie “Enchantment Under the Sea” unfolds along this particular storyline. As per the trailer’s explanation, “Major P-3 embarks on a dive to an underwater facility with the mission of saving all mankind.” He will be accompanied by his twin during this endeavor. This implies that P-3 might have discovered a method to retrieve one of his twins, which could aid him in thwarting Char-les.
In the DLC, it appears that Granny Zina reappears, and by the game’s end, we discover her as P-3’s mother-in-law. It seems she could have a significant impact on the narrative. Fingers crossed, she might even offer you some great weapons for your arsenal.
In addition to the trailer for the DLC unveiling two new human characters, one of whom is featured prominently in the DLC artwork, details about them remain scarce. However, it’s anticipated that they will contribute significantly to the storyline. Lastly, it’s crucial to steer clear of the colossal Moray-eel guarding the underwater part of the facility, as doing so will allow you to progress further.
