Joe Lando, famous for his role in “Dr. Quinn, Medicine Woman,” and his family have sought refuge at the residence of his co-star, Jane Seymour, following the destruction of their home by the fires in Pacific Palisades.
Lando expressed gratitude in a heartfelt Instagram post, stating that there are indeed kind-hearted individuals like Jane Seymour in this world. With nothing else but our companionship, she welcomed us into her home without a second thought. Remarkably, she even provided us with a place to rest.

In 1993, Seymour and Lando acted as Michaela Quinn and Byron Sully on CBS’s show that lasted for six seasons. More recently, they were cast together as romantic leads in the 2022 Lifetime film titled “A Christmas Spark.”

Lando expressed that he’s never faced anything similar before; it’s beyond words to describe. If this situation only affected us, he would be coping well. However, it involves everyone and everything, leaving him deeply saddened and heart-wrenched for all the people we know. They no longer have homes.
As a die-hard film enthusiast, I’d say my ‘hood is predominantly populated by folk who work tirelessly day in and out. Generations upon generations have called this place home. Unfortunately, the school where my kids used to learn has vanished from the scene.
In a recurring dream, a young lad assures me that everything is alright, merely a frightening dream, and now I’m awake – inviting me to see my house still standing. I find myself persuaded in this dreamscape, feeling my heart lift with relief. But upon reaching the street, he gestures, and all that was once there, is now vanished.
