Cinnabrit is fed up with advertisers placing gambling promotions on videos featuring her, and she’s warned that she may take legal steps to stop this misuse of her content for commercial purposes.
Ever since I can remember, discussions around gambling have always been buzzing within the realm of streaming. In the year 2022 itself, Twitch chose to take a firm stance against gambling content on their platform, opting to prohibit such streams.
This paved the way for Kick, a streaming service supported by Stake’s owners, which specializes in providing gambling-related content.
Despite the rule that prohibits Twitch streamers from engaging in gambling activities or accepting gambling sponsorships, a popular trend on Twitter involves these gaming platforms promoting themselves indirectly by displaying their logos on seemingly unrelated clips from streams.
Recently, there’s been a growing practice on Twitter where an account shares a video clip of a streamer, often superimposing the Stake logo onto the footage without the streamer’s consent. It seems that Twitch streamer Cinna is the most recent target of this trend, and she strongly objects to it.
Cinna threatens legal action against stream clippers
On the 11th of January, a Twitter post shared a segment from the most recent live stream by Cinna, and in one corner of the clip, the Rainbet brand logo for an online gaming platform was visible. This didn’t sit well with Cinna, who expressed that she would be reaching out to her legal team regarding the matter.
Cinna mentioned that he’s reaching out to his legal team regarding the stake clips, as he feels they are no longer valid. He emphasized that this issue is unrelated to the clip and involves misleading narratives manipulated out of context. Moreover, placing an illicit advertisement on his content is not acceptable.
I’m reaching out to my legal team regarding the stake clips; I’ve had enough. It’s important to note that these claims have no connection to the clips and are misleading narratives that have been taken out of context. Furthermore, it’s troubling that an unlawful advertisement has been placed on my content.

The tweet now boasts more than 12,000 ‘thumbs up’, as numerous users concur with Cinna while voicing disapproval for the unspecified advertisement in the comments section.
“yea cinna get him” one person replied.
“Please actually do this I will do anything to make it happen” said another.
Although the Rainbet logo suggests an advertisement, it’s still considered a breach of x’s terms of service because the ad is not presented in a commercial context. Cinnabrit is not promoting the product directly; instead, the logo is attached to a clip that has no connection to gambling.
If she decides to take legal steps, the main point of her argument would be this situation, accompanied by a potential lawsuit for defamation should she believe that the excerpts used out of context harmed her reputation.
It’s not uncommon for streamers to face threats of legal action when clippers use their content for advertising gambling, and Valkyrae is one such individual who announced her intention to take legal action against clipping accounts in late 2024, citing similar reasons as Cinna.
