For Tokyo Game Show 2025, the formal event calendar has been published, and it was promptly observed that Electronic Arts (EA) will be holding their own event to unveil further details about Battlefield 6’s campaign.
On September 26, at 1 PM in Tokyo (which is midnight EST), there will be a presentation showcasing an updated perspective on Battlefield 6’s single-player mode. This event will include lead developers Philippe Ducharme and Roman Campos-Oriola, as well as the English voice actors from the game, as reported by Gematsu.
A significant portion of the discussion around Battlefield 6 has centered on its multiplayer aspect, leaving many fans excited to uncover details about the game’s single-player campaign. It’s been revealed that EA Motive is responsible for creating this campaign, which draws influence from the war film Civil War and the Taylor Sheridan series Lioness.
In the video above, we get a sneak peek at Battlefield 6 with its campaign setting. It commences with the President of the United States addressing their citizens about an unprecedented, unprovoked assault and asserting that “no nation is immune.” The trailer then showcases diverse landscapes across the globe, among which is New York City.
Campos-Oriola mentioned that a central idea behind the Battlefield 6 campaign revolves around depicting the experiences of average individuals thrust into extraordinary circumstances due to their remarkable abilities.
The developer stated, “This setup generates an intriguing interpersonal vibe, which we aim to portray in our solo player experience.
EA Motive, responsible for the 2023 Dead Space remake, emphasized that the game presents a significantly distinct experience compared to Battlefield. Ducharme expressed that their goal was to delve into the “tension arc,” aiming to balance the peaks and troughs in a way that would maintain players’ interest.
