Twitch sensation Felix ‘xQc’ Lengyel recently discussed an issue he’s facing since his mother retired: she struggles to grasp the fact that she’s financially secure due to her son’s success as a popular streamer.
In a live broadcast on the 3rd of January, xQc revealed that his professional achievements have enabled him to financially take care of his mother, essentially enabling her retirement. Yet, he expressed his annoyance as she continues to be frugal with spending, even though she is comfortably provided for.
He expressed, “Because I took care of her, my mother has been well-taken-care-of,” he stated. “However, the only issue I face with my parents revolves around my mother’s unwillingness to spend money. This miserliness really frustrates me.
He went on to express: “She doesn’t grasp it, and it infuriates me. Whenever I encounter her, I find myself asking, ‘Hold on, are you still stashing money away? Are you still preparing for life 2.0? Does saving for the next phase of life mean we’re planning for the afterlife today?'”
Later on, xQc playfully suggested that maybe his mother has been saving money as a preparation for the moment she “respawns.

The video was posted on Reddit, allowing fans to express their opinions and feelings about it. One user commented, “That looks amazing, I bet it feels fantastic.” Another shared, “I paid off my parents’ credit card debt, and that was likely the greatest sense of accomplishment I’ll ever experience.
In a twist of events, certain individuals seized the chance to throw a few barbs at the popular Twitch personality, ExtraEmily. This comes in the wake of a recent uproar concerning her emotional outburst during a live stream, where she discussed struggles related to repaying her parents who had invested $170k into her education.
One person commented, “That’s really kind. I’m curious if Emily (ExtraEmily) might perform such an action.” Another chimed in, “Emily (ExtraEmily), I think you’re capable of doing something like that.
