Mario Kart 8 Deluxe currently holds the title as Nintendo’s best-selling game individually, though it should be noted that Wii Sports has sold more units overall. The reason being, Wii Sports came packaged with the Wii console itself, while Mario Kart 8 Deluxe has also been included in certain Switch bundles in the past.
This isn’t just any update for Nintendo’s alarm clock, Alarmo; it’s actually the second one! Right after its launch in October, it received a day-one update which included features like Moderate Mode, Movement Record, and others. Interestingly, this Nintendo-styled alarm clock was unexpectedly unveiled on October 9th, adding to the anticipation for Switch 2 as fans eagerly wait for more news about it. The device showcases scenes from popular games such as The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild and Super Mario Odyssey upon its debut.
Additionally, some informal modifications have been made to the device as well. A creative individual managed to incorporate cat images into Alarmo, and even introduced a playable version of Doom.
Alarmo, at present, can be accessed by Nintendo Switch Online members for a fee of $100. Next year, they plan to expand its availability beyond this group.
