As an old-timer in the gaming world, I’ve seen my share of ups and downs, launches, and patches. But Path of Exile 2, oh boy! Six long years in the making, and it finally landed on our screens like a phoenix rising from ashes. The game is a beauty, no doubt about that, but it’s not without its quirks – bugs that are as common as the denizens of Wraeclast themselves.
Six years following its initial reveal in 2019, Path of Exile 2 made its debut in early access on December 6, 2024. Although it has faced some server troubles and performance problems, the game has managed to garner more than half a million Steam players. The general consensus among reviewers is that the game is outstanding, but some users have encountered progressively vexing glitches, such as the missing Undamaged Core or the Mektul boss in Molten Vault who proves elusive.
How to find Undamaged Core in PoE 2
In the world of Aggorat lies a secondary activity called “Undamaged Core”. This distinctive spot becomes accessible from Act 3 onwards at certain junctures. Each time you transit via the temporal portal to Aggorat, the map configuration alters.
If you’re having trouble locating Aggorat’s waypoint, try these methods:
- Travel from Act 4: Navigate to Clearfell in Act 4 and access the waypoint map. From there, you can directly teleport to Aggorat in Act 3.
- Use the time gateway: Pass through the time travel gateway in Act 3 town and continue exploring until you reach Aggorat.
- Revisit Act 1: If you still can’t find the gateway, go back to Act 1 (on Cruel difficulty) and defeat the Miller once more.
As a gamer, I’ve encountered quite the conundrum with the Undamaged Core. Even after meticulously clearing out every nook and cranny of the location, annihilating each last enemy, it just won’t show up. Given that this item drops from a random mob, it feels like there might be a bug in this side quest, making it rather frustrating.
Even though some players have discovered the Undamaged Core, proving its existence, it’s disappointing to know that should you fail to locate it during your initial search, you must redo Aggorat and hope for better luck next time. Keep in mind that Path of Exile 2 is still in early access, so experiencing challenges like these is normal.
