Solo Extraction in Delta Force is a bad experience. Players want a dedicated singleplayer mode

As a seasoned gamer with decades of experience under my belt, I must say that the free-to-play Delta Force has certainly piqued my interest, especially considering its ability to gather hundreds of players at once. However, as someone who values a balanced and enjoyable gaming experience, I find myself somewhat disappointed with the current state of the game’s Hazard Operations mode, particularly for solo players like myself.

As a passionate gamer, I recently dived into the free-to-play world of Delta Force, only to find myself in a bustling community of gamers. Yet, upon glancing through Steam reviews, it appears that this game doesn’t seem to be everyone’s cup of tea. The feedback is divided, with some praises and others expressing dissatisfaction.

Delta Force solo is a bad experience.

The single-player campaign for Delta Force is still being developed and will be released in January 2025. In the meantime, players seeking a solo experience might opt for Hazard Operations, as its extraction mode offers a similar experience. However, there’s a demand for dedicated solo matches due to some issues that users have encountered with it.

At the outset of the game session, you have the option to skip filling up the lobby. In this case, you’ll be playing on your own. However, the game doesn’t pair you with other solo players for the mission. Instead, you’ll encounter teams, many of which have a full squad of 3 members each. This can make the game significantly more challenging. What’s more, some players find teamming up with random players less rewarding and not the kind of gaming experience they seek.

It appears that developers are addressing player feedback by introducing a new mission called Operation Serpentine, set to debut on January 1. This mission promises a PvE experience, and since it’s already been tested, we have a good understanding of what to expect. Unlike typical extraction missions, you won’t be able to loot bodies in Operation Serpentine. Some players are suggesting that the mission is intended for cooperative play due to the high number of opponents, making it potentially challenging for solo players to enjoy fully. If you’re seeking a single-player experience, for now, the campaign might be your best option (once it’s released).
