Anderson Cooper and Andy Cohen Officially Returning for CNN’s ‘New Year’s Eve Live’

As a longtime fan of quality entertainment and someone who has spent countless New Year’s Eves glued to the television screen, I couldn’t be more excited about Anderson Cooper and Andy Cohen returning for their eighth consecutive NYE celebration on CNN! The dynamic duo never fails to deliver a memorable show, and their camaraderie is truly unmatched.

Anderson Cooper and Andy Cohen will be back to celebrate the New Year once again on CNN’s “New Year’s Eve Live” in 2025.

For eight years straight, the duo (Anderson Cooper and Andy Cohen) will be hosting the network’s New Year’s Eve broadcast. They’ll go live from Times Square in New York City, starting at 8 p.m. Eastern Time. Apart from airing on CNN, their show, titled “New Year’s Eve Live With Anderson Cooper and Andy Cohen,” will also stream live on Max.

On this special night, we’ll have a star-studded gathering featuring 50 Cent performing live from his Las Vegas residency, along with Sting, Meghan Trainor, Shania Twain, Diplo, and Lil Jon. Mickey Guyton will grace Times Square with a live performance of “Imagine”, while Patti LaBelle, Whitney Cummings, Amy Sedaris, Sasheer Zamata, Ziwe, and Adam Devine are set to make their appearance too!

In October, Cohen had suggested to EbMaster that he and Cooper would return to television to welcome the year 2025, and they’d be enjoying alcohol. “You can bet on it,” Cohen replied. “After what Anderson did during the hurricane, I’m not just offering him tequila, I’m aiming to splash it on him.

Cohen, undoubtedly, was alluding to the widely-shared incident where Cooper got struck by an airborne item during his coverage of Hurricane Milton for CNN in Florida.

More to come…
