Guy Ritchie Showtime Crime Series Casts Paddy Considine, Joanne Froggatt, Lara Pulver, Anson Boon (EXCLUSIVE)

As a seasoned movie enthusiast with a penchant for gritty, character-driven dramas, I find Guy Ritchie’s latest project at Paramount+ to be nothing short of exhilarating! The addition of Paddy Considine, Joanne Froggatt, Lara Pulver, and Anson Boon to the already stellar cast featuring Tom Hardy, Pierce Brosnan, and Helen Mirren promises a rich tapestry of complex characters that will surely captivate audiences.

Guy Ritchie‘s upcoming series at Paramount+ with Showtime has added four new cast members.

It has been revealed exclusively that Paddy Considine, Joanne Froggatt, Lara Pulver, and Anson Boon have secured series regular positions in an as-yet-unnamed drama production.

In the upcoming series, Tom Hardy, Pierce Brosnan, and Helen Mirren will join as co-stars. As per the official summary, this story revolves around two rival families in London whose businesses span worldwide, and the dedicated “fixer” (Hardy) tasked with safeguarding one of these families no matter what.

Considerine is set to portray Kevin Harrigan, who is Conrad’s (Brosnan) child. Froggatt will take on the role of Jan Da Souza, married to Harry (Hardy). Pulver has been cast as Bella Harrigan, the wife of Kevin. Boon will play the part of Eddie Harrigan, the rebellious son of Kevin.

Considerine, Froggatt, Pulver, and Boon are represented by different talent agencies: Considerine by CAA and Independent Talent Group, Froggatt by Conway Van Gelder Grant and Principal Entertainment LA, Pulver also by Independent Talent Group and Principal Entertainment LA, and Boon by Curtis Brown Group, CAA, and Sloane Offer.

The series production is happening in London now, and it’s set to air in 2025. Originally titled “The Donovans,” the show started as a spin-off of Showtime’s “Ray Donovan” across the pond. But it has since been reimagined into an independent series with no ties to that franchise. The earlier reports about it filming under the title “The Associate” are no longer accurate.

The one-hour gangster drama series originates from Showtime/MTV Entertainment Studios and 101 Studios. Ronan Bennett is the primary writer for the series, while Ritchie will take on directing duties. Both individuals serve as executive producers, along with Keith Cox, Nina L. Diaz, David C. Glasser, Jez Butterworth, Kris Thykier, Ivan Atkinson, Hardy, Dean Baker, Ron Burkle, David Hutkin, and Bob Yari. In simpler terms, this series is produced by Showtime/MTV Entertainment Studios and 101 Studios, with Ronan Bennett as the main writer and Ritchie serving as the director. Both are also executive producers, along with several others mentioned in the list provided.
